2- Go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab, by default status: POP is disabled and status: IMAP is disabled. So, please check on ☑ Enable POP for all mail and ☑ Enable IMAP. And then click on the Save Changes button.

How to turn on 2-Step Verification in Google Account

1- Go to Manage your Google Account, click on the Google account profile you will see the Manage your Google account button. So click on it.

3- Click on 2-Step Verification, on the Protect your account with 2-Step Verification screen, click on GET STARTED button.

4- Type your Gmail password, and click on Next

5- Select your country zip code and type your phone number. “How do you want to get codes?” choose Text message or Phone call for getting a verification code. And then click on Next.

6- Type Google code from your phone message or phone call in to Enter the code box and Next, and then click TURN ON.

How to generate the app password in Google Account

A. For this step, If you are existing Gmail in Outlook ready but it has a problem with your Outlook required Gmail password, you just copy the App password generated and paste it to the password box in Outlook. it’s working.

B. But if you’re new set up Gmail in Outlook, so please:

1- Open the Outlook application and type your Gmail address.

2- Click on Advanced options, check on ☑ Let me set up my account manually, and then click Connect button

3- Advanced Setup, choose POP, paste the app password generated and click on Connect

4- Account successfully added screen, If you don’t need set up on your mobile phone, So uncheck on “Set up Outlook mobile on my phone, too“. and then click Done

2- Type Gmail address, click on advanced options and check on ☑ Let me set up my account manually

3- Click on Connect button

4- Choose IMAP

5- Sign in with Google prompts pop up, click on Next

6- Type your Gmail password

7- Click on the “Sign in” button

8- Enter a verification code, Google sent a verification code to your phone by Text message or Authenticator app

9- On the next screen, scroll down for finding the “Allow” button and click on it.
